In the 21st century, the traditional way of teaching does not meet the needs of students. The transition from the traditional teacher-centered teaching model to more modern student-centered models that promote active learning is the goal. By integrating ICT into the educational process, an attempt is made to search for and find innovative teaching methods that are close to the interests and experiences of students, as well as to create a climate that favors the involvement of students in the learning process.

The “ Raising ” program Interest and Excellence in STEAM Education Incorporated with Non- Formal Based Videos Games ” is a groundbreaking initiative that aims to enhance STEAM (Science, Technology, Art, Engineering, Mathematics) learning through fun and creativity. Harnessing the power of video games, the project offers students an engaging learning experience where they can apply their knowledge to real-world scenarios and develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

The project will offer a rich set of tools and resources that can be easily integrated into the classroom. Through the use of video games, teachers can create a more interactive and engaging learning environment, where students are active participants in the learning process. The video games developed within the project encourage the development of important skills for the future, such as problem solving, collaboration and critical thinking. In addition, they promote a love of science and technology from an early age. As a result, skills such as creativity, communication, collaboration and critical thinking are improved in both teachers and students.

The next mobility of the program will take place in September 2025 in Croatia.

The program is funded by the European Union through the State Scholarships Foundation (I.K.Y.), which is the Greek National Coordination Unit for Erasmus + programs.

All work within the framework of mobility was crowned with complete success.
